These CCE ST Tank Features:
Result In These Advantages:
All HDPE plastic and high temp fiberglass construction
Low environmental footprint compared to tanks made with metal frames/skins
SPF insulation
Extremely low heat loss, and no metal heat path losses
Toughest exterior available on any solar storage tank
Can be placed just about anywhere without fear of damage
TWO waterproof barriers!
Danger of leaking highly unlikely!
Atmospheric pressure tank
Non-pressurized design, no danger of explosion
Lightweight (compared to other large tanks)
ONE MAN can move and install this tank, easy to ship
Easy access to tank interior
Large inspection port removes in seconds, but still vapor proof!
Minimal onsite assembly, modular parts assemble without adhesives
The easiest large tank to install, no special skills required
No rubberized liner- tough high temperature fiberglass interior
Replacement liners (if even available) are expensive/labor intensive
In the unlikely event of water breach, easy to patch waterproof barrier
Inexpensive epoxy/fiberglass patchkit for easy onsite repairs!
One, two, or three heat exchangers (HE) , optimally placed
Mutiple HE configurations allow for multiple heating and DHW preheat uses, Drainback or Glycol solar collection configurations available.
Insulated return tube (inside tank!) to solar collector panels
Lowers return temp to panels, increasing solar collection efficiency!

Colorado Clean Energy Systems, LLC is seeking partners to help manufacture this tank in quantity for nationwide, and perhaps international, distribution.   This tank, presently "hand built",  can be factory manufactured at very low cost. A business plan is available for this project for serious inquiries only.  A brochure is available here .  Please contact us if your company is interested in expanding into the growing market for safe, reliable solar heating!
