          new panels

New Sun Earth EC-32 Collectors

These panels can be used for Solar Domestic Hot Water or Solar Heating.  Actual panels are in storage, but are the same model as shown.  Selective coating. Five available.

Price:  $825 each, or $800 each for all five.

Delivery available in Western Colorado, or pick them up yourself in Montrose.

                  gear
(sorry about picture quality, this is a larger Gear array)

Gear Solar Evac Tube Array

Above is a picture of a Gear Solar  Solar Pac 24 evacuated tube array. This brand new 24 tube evacuated tube array is in stock (in the box, so no picture of actual unit). I will part with it for $1000 (delivery extra).  Six extra replacement tubes are included for no extra charge! This array was ordered for a job that never came through, hence the deep discount. The array is SRCC approved, and comes with a complete stainless steel racking kit containing all hardware.

CCE can install items on this page (with exception of used panels) in solar heating systems for a primary residence, so you can benefit from the %30 federal tax credit!

used panels

Used Collectors
Above are two 4' x 8' solar thermal panels about 25 years old (estimated) that I removed recently from a house where they were no longer wanted. I will let them go for $125 as is, or $175 ea. after testing them (I haven't gotten around to testing them yet). As far as I can tell (before testing) they seem to be in good shape.
                   cres tank

Solar Storage Tank with Drainback Pump Station
The above picture shows the control panel and storage tank for a drainback system.

It's a 270 gallon tank, and would be good as a radiant heat source for a small house or workshop.  Works great, but I need to build a new prototype.

The tank is a prototype, and has been used as my "test bed" for the last two years.  The tank is basically as good as new, but does NOT have the secondary waterproof barrier of the latest ST tank.  This tank only has the primary (high temperature fiberglass) barrier, but it is a tough waterproof barrier noneltheless, and shows no sign of stress after two years of use.   I heated my workshop the previous year for $1.40 (cost of the electricity to run the drainback pump!).

Cost for tank and drainback pump station $3900  (Roughly 1/2 price from new!)
