3D Heating Design Services featuring Autodesk Revit
CCE Heating System Design Features:
Result In These Advantages:
Heat load analysis
Leads to heating loads being properly matched with heat sources
Up-to-date hydronic techniques Ensure lowest monthly fuel costs, and lowest installation complexity
Web enabled heating system controls for both standard and solar integrated heating systemsAllow remote control, troubleshooting, and diagnostics, saving contractor callbacks, and ensuring quick resolution of customer concerns!
CCE uses/specifies established, reliable, off the shelf components
Lower installation and maintenance costs
Well planned and executed pipe insulation
Eliminates unecessary heat loss, resists physical and weather damage
Careful hydronic design
Ensures system efficiency, occupant comfort, and component longevity
Optional solar thermal input to the heating system
Higher initial cost, but even higher long term fuel cost savings

CCE also offers Revit Architecture Design Services as an option.
Here are some examples of CCE Revit Architecture designs:

NABCEP

Proposed renovation of the old Montrose Daily Press building.  Solar thermal heating, grid tied photovoltaic, and solar light tubes to offset daytime electrical usage.

NABCEP

Northeast view of retirement house, showing showing summer sitting space (arbor). Wintertime sitting space on the other side of wall is open to sun, and protected from breezes by the wall.

Revit not only shows how installation will look (from any vantage point), but can calculate hydronic parameters such as flow rates, heat loads, heat delivery, electrical usage, etc.

Walls, floors, ceilings, etc., can be removed from sections/elevations to present a clearer view.

Duct layout with equipment details

MEP

2-D ductwork layout. Ductwork can be shown from any vantage point, and 3-D section views can be generated from any viewpoint, so potential conflicts can be seen before installation is attempted.

Note: Full MEP services coming soon. We are awaiting improved hydronic design functionality before investing in the latest MEP package. Contact us if you need MEP services; we need to know if a market exists for MEP.
